Recycling Drop-Off Facility

One of the many ways MMU is serving the community of Marshall

Located on North Street just east of the old decommissioned Power Plant site, the Recycling Drop-Off Facility was built as a convenient way for the residents of Marshall to practice recycling. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Accepted Materials for Drop-Off

  • Glass – green, brown and clear
  • Mixed Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Steel Cans
  • Aluminum Cans
  • Plastic Bottles – (No. 1 variety, green or clear only)*
  • Plastic Jugs – (No. 2 variety of any color)*
  • Electronic Waste:
    • Small Appliances Only
    • No Televisions Allowed
    • No Appliances Using Freon
    • No Large Appliances

Please remove lids and rinse all items prior to drop off. The Recycling Drop-Off Facility is for residential use only. For more information call (660) 886-6966.

* On the bottom of the bottle or jug there should be a recycle triangle similar to the picture below with a number in it. Make sure the number is a 1 or a 2.
