Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employee of the Quarter

MMU has announced Bruce Carter as their Employee of the Quarter for the quarter ending June 30, 2024.

July 31, 2024:  Marshall – Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Bruce Carter as their “Employee of the Quarter” for the quarter ending June 30, 2024.

In nominating Carter, Wastewater Treatment Superintendent Eric Perkins highlighted Carter’s contributions at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

“Bruce continually volunteers to come in early and run presses in order to get excess sludge out.” Perkins continued, sharing an event that occurred in late April, “Bruce was on call and the headworks flooded; Bruce came in and monitored everything while the event was going on.  As soon as the basement was back to normal, Bruce was cleaning up in the basement.”

In conclusion, Perkins said, “In addition, Bruce has done a really good job with helping train our newer staff.  He is a good asset to MMU and wears many hats at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.”

In November 2017, Carter joined MMU as an Operator in the Wastewater Treatment department.
