Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employee of the Quarter

MMU has announced Matt Pennock as their Employee of the Quarter for
the quarter ending December 31, 2023

February 2, 2024: Marshall – Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Matt Pennock as
their “Employee of the Quarter” for the quarter ending December 31, 2023.

In nominating Pennock, Underground Facilities
Director Grant Piper highlighted Pennock’s
contributions in Underground Facilities.

“Matt shows good leadership with newer
members of the department.” Piper continued,
“His ability to train newer employees on CCTV,
sewer jetting and locating MMU’s water and
sewer facilities in a short amount of time is an
asset to MMU.”

In conclusion, Piper said, “This along with his
professionalism when working with multiple
contractors on a daily basis make him a great
candidate for Employee of the Quarter.”

In March 2006, Pennock joined MMU in a Maintenance position. Pennock was
promoted to System Operator in July 2016. Presently, Pennock holds a System Operator II
position in Underground Facilities.
