Marshall Municipal Utilities Announces Employee of the Quarter

MMU has announced Shawn McKinney as their Employee of the Quarter for the quarter ending March 31, 2024.

May 1, 2024: Marshall – Marshall Municipal Utilities has announced Shawn McKinney as their “Employee of the Quarter” for the quarter ending March 31, 2024.

In nominating McKinney, Controller Tony Bersano highlighted support that McKinney provides business office staff.

“This past quarter Shawn has worked with billing on helping us convert our billing postage to the new USPS requirements and he is our go-to guy for help on the mobile service order app on the iPad.” Bersano continued, “Shawn has also spent time working with payroll in setting up the ACA electronic files for us to submit our 1095-C.”

In conclusion, Bersano said, “I feel like I can speak for all of the business office in that Shawn is a great asset to MMU.”

In May 2019, McKinney joined MMU’s IT & Broadband department in an IT Support position. McKinney was promoted to Programmer in December 2019.
